Four steps, about ninety seconds
Recovery Lab is self-service on purpose. There is no reception to queue at, no key to collect and nobody to ask. Your phone is the booking, the payment and the door.
From “I should sauna” to sitting down
The same four steps whether it is your first session or your fiftieth. The second visit is faster because your location and payment method are already saved.
Find a location
Search by postcode or browse the network. Every cabin shows whether it is free right now, the next available slot, and how far away it is.
Live availability, no phone calls
Choose your time
Take the next free slot in one tap, or pick a time that fits around training. Sessions are a fixed 30 minutes with a 5-minute changeover after them.

Scan, check in, recover
Check-in opens five minutes before your slot. Scan the code on the cabin door, the lock releases for you, and the cabin is already up to temperature.
Check-in opens 5 minutes early
At the gym, or from home
These are genuinely different journeys, so we built them separately rather than forcing one flow to do both jobs.
Flow one
At the gym
You have just finished training and the cabin is right there. This path is built to be finished standing up, one-handed, on gym wifi.
- 1Finish your session and walk to the cabin.
- 2Scan the QR code on the door with your phone camera.
- 3The page shows whether the cabin is free and what it costs — nothing to install.
- 4Pay with Apple Pay or spend a credit. One tap.
- 5The lock releases, the door opens, and your 30 minutes start when you go in.
- Under 60 sec
- Apple Pay, Google Pay, card or credit
- No — the QR makes one
Flow two
From home
You are planning the week and want the slot locked in. This path assumes you care about the time more than the speed of booking it.
- 1Open Recovery Lab and search your postcode.
- 2Pick a location, then a day and a time up to 3 weeks out on a monthly plan.
- 3Confirm with a credit or a card. Your booking reference and door code arrive by email.
- 4Turn up a few minutes early — check-in opens 5 minutes before the slot.
- 5Scan at the door, or open the booking in your account and tap unlock.
- 7–30 daysDepends on your plan
- Email with reference and door code
- Cancel free up to 2 hours before
Inside the cabin
Nobody explains this part, so people arrive unsure whether to bring a towel. Here is the whole thing.
It is already warm
The cabin preheats before your slot so you are not sitting in a cold box for ten minutes. Expect around 75–80°C, dry heat, and low warm light.
Thirty minutes, clock on the wall
A quiet display counts down the time you have left. Two minutes before the end you get a soft prompt, so nobody has to knock on the door.
Water, towel, bench
Bring water. Most locations hire towels; the location page says which. Sit on your towel — it is a shared cabin and that is the whole etiquette.
Leave the phone outside
Heat and phones do not get on, and the room works better without one. Lockers are in the host gym changing rooms.
Before your first session, read the safety guidance
Heat is not suitable for everyone, and there is no member of staff in the room with you. Our guidance covers hydration, sensible session lengths for a first visit, why alcohol and saunas do not mix, and who should speak to a doctor first. It takes two minutes to read.
